стилю в перехідну добу від віденського класицизму до раннього романтизму. Фортепіанні сонати композитора (ранні та маловідомі) тривалий час залишалися поза активним виконавським обігом, що спричинило фрагментарність музикознавчих уявлень про еволюцію його сонатного мислення. Отже, актуальність теми обумовлена: зростаючим інтересом сучасних піаністів та викладачів до маловідомих або неопублікованих творів композитора-класика для створення креативних програм; відсутністю у музикознавстві системного осмислення повного корпусу фортепіанних сонат Ф. Мендельсона;
обґрунтуванням інтерпретативного підходу, що поєднує жанрово-стильовий та виконавський аналіз фортепіанних сонат німецького романтика, убезпечуючи подальший розвиток мендельсонозавства.
The dissertation is devoted to a systematic study of Felix Mendelssohn’s piano sonatas as a complete genre corpus within the context of the European musical tradition of the late eighteenth and first half of the nineteenth centuries, as well as contemporary performance practice. Mendelssohn’s artistic legacy continues to attract considerable scholarly and performing interest, particularly with regard to his piano works, in which the mechanisms of continuity between musical forms and genres are most distinctly manifested against the background of stylistic individualization during the transitional period from Viennese Classicism to Early Romanticism. The composer’s piano sonatas, especially the early and lesser-known ones, remained outside active performance circulation for a long time, resulting in fragmented musicological understanding of the evolution of his compositional thinking. The relevance of the topic is therefore determined by the growing interest of contemporary pianists and teachers in little-known or unpublished works by canonical composers for the creation of innovative concert programmes; the absence of a systematic musicological study of Mendelssohn’s complete corpus of piano sonatas; and the need to substantiate an interpretative approach in Mendelssohn studies that combines genre-stylistic and performance analysis of the German Romantic composer’s piano sonatas, thus contributing to the further development of this field of research.
