Пропонована збірка обіймає різноманітні проблеми функціонування мистецтва у минулому й сучасному: питання композиторської творчості і музичного виконавства, розвитку окремих жанрів та новітніх інформаційних технологій у сфері мистецької діяльності. Вдосконаленню професійної майстерності музикантів і акторів присвячені розробки у галузі психології, педагогіки й методики виконавства. Аналітична думка спрямована на пошук нових методологій і нетрадиційних аспектів дослідження художнього тексту.Тематику багатьох статей розглянуто у загальнокультурному контексті, що дозволяс адресувати збірку як викладачам, студентам і аспірантам вузів музично-театрального профілю, так і більш широкому колу читачів.
